I have potential to be a bit of an unsatisfiable spaz....
but how can you not be content with life when the little things stop bothering you - you're able to stop and realize what you really have right in front of you..

Here is Luke being huge

he recently found his toes - which makes him happy because he now has 10 new things to chew on

It was so nice this weekend that we brought out the water table so Anna could play

and Luke got a little quality naked time in the stroller

NO! she was snoozing and I woke her up for the bikini application and picture..

Are You My Mother

We went to a picnic this weekend at Stacey & Gunter's

and the weather has been FABULOUS - and then the picnics got planned -

and it became cold & crappy out... so we bundled for the picnic b/c lord knows Mommy needed to get out of the house & see people

so we were not going to miss it!

Sunday - we got a new bubble machine to replace the Elmo bubbler

this one blows elmo out of the water

(4000 bubbles per minute)

Annie Long Legs

I think back to the days when Anna would pass out in her car seat...

she was so cute with her little Charlie Brown legs that were so small she couldn't bend her knees when she was in her car seat..

her feet sort of stuck straight out..

now... she has long legs

and I can't help but be upset that my baby is growing up

and here -she's just so cool

Nanny brought the kids over to Cookie's to visit little Hailey
Looks like Luke is going to flatten the poor little bean!

...Yet another Friday...

The other day was Uncle Ed's birthday...

and this was his birthday picture...

I don't know if he got it - but I sent it

we went to the doctor on Thurs for Luke's shots -

and Anna got stickers (explain that one to me..)

when Luke was all done - I asked Anna where all the stickers went -

she lifted up her shirt to show me and said "Tummy Mommy"

in the tone of "You idiot - I put them on my tummy - where else would I put them?"

They were there for the rest of the day

Luke getting mentally prepared for his shots.. Yet another trip to Walmart - missed

Anna enjoyed the sunny day with her shades .....and the family........

let the games begin

To start things off -

we were so happy that Luke took to the walker like a pro

totally loves it

feet reach the floor

(like there was any question of it!)

and he gets it - play with the toys -

keep self occupied so parents can get stuff done

good. right?

Having children - I have learned that all things come with a price

while one moves up -

the other moves back...

I know there are a zillion pictures of Anna in the driveway

but she's just too cute -

and I'm quite pleased with the new nice weather

so get ready

also, it wears her out like you wouldn't believe

so after the walk - the girl passed out big time - and I think I'm finally going to be able to get things done

because Luke slept thru the

exhausting walk...
he's away and ready to go

and here you can see that he is almost officially TOO BIG for the pack & play

well - what lasted 20 months for the girl -

almost made it 4 months with him

greeeeaaaaatttt

because the weather was so nice -

we decided to have the first bbq

things are a little different these days...

in the past - we had the

SPRING INTO SPRING SPRING FLING

and it was fun and wild and crazy and lasted into the wee hours of the morning

now - we each ate a hot dog outside- but came in once it got dark

I know - we're wild
but Anna couldn't have been happier

Luke, on the other hand, slept through the whole bitso then we come inside to finish the hot dog and eat some baby food

and then the fun starts

Luke was tired

Anna was ticked that he was in her chair

then I told a story with a punchline that startled Luke

Luke freaked out because he was over-tired from the insanity that was our bbq

and Anna freak because Luke's chair (which she wanted to be in) was turned around -

and she thought she was missing out on something

this is my new, updated version of a wild & crazy night

but there is no problem that can't be fixed by a little naked time

Here is a perfect example of how much Luke loves Anna..
and here is a perfect example of how Anna mocks me..
I was holding my hand up trying to make Luke look up (Lukey - look up here!!)
and she does it too.. silly girl
I got the girl all strapped into her little chair strapper -
and finally got a clean picture of Luke in the walker..
granted- he's in the garbage - but its a clear picture!

and this - well it's just plain old funny :)
