Happy Thanksgiving

Before the festivities - we had a little kid time
in the fall, you tend to forget how red a kid's face gets when they warm up

Thanksgiving Morning.. we were seasonally appropriate
boy was sporting his Christmas shirt
Girl was in her Easter duds
(while boy was being naughty in the background)
Lovely ride to Aunt Fran's "Thanksgiving House"

needless to say, the kids were a little bit excited for the parade

Weekend Fun

Cheesey Face Pilgrim Boy

We went outside to play
but there was someone on the slide that I just WOULD NOT cross
so until Daddy came to save the day ...
all fun was put on hold

girl was swinging the swing
but REFUSED to be buckled in..
she tried to make the best of it - because Dan & I refused to give her any substantial pushes

I, of course, had my finger on the trigger
anxiously awaiting the inevitable
(note: no kids were hurt)

but as soon as she was buckled in
the swinging began

...and what does boy do while we're distracted with the girl...

a little silly time

this is what happens when I leave girl alone with daddy

and this is just an example of a typical sunday morning

girl has a dance session

and a typical boy excited moment

a day in the life of boy

For some reason -boy seemed to be the center of all pictures this week!
boy wakes up - and kicks back for a little

little bit of scratch & sniff

nap with the moose

brought him in - and moose is still there

girl was out too

double trouble
shirtless tough-guy dinner
back into jammies - feet up like a big man

boy is learning his manners-
'Bye & Thanks!' and everything else involved....
but mac & cheese out-ranks any manner!

boy has really learned how to rock the sing-along
Girl told me "Mommy, we have to have a talk! Luke only does cow & duck!"
note: after every video- boy ends with "CHEESE!"

Mom & Boy

Dad & Girl

and we're off

it was a wee bit rainy & cold-
but everyone had fun nonetheless
after the first 2 houses - girl was set to go home..
"I sure do have enough candy!"
but boy could have stopped at every house in the tri-state area & it still wouldn't have been enough

trying to pose for a nice Halloween picture -
and I get abused

not so bad - but boy is trying to escape
"I want to get out of here"
and girl is kicking me

tally up the loot

boy had his first ring-pop and loved it!
