Weekend started by getting the kids nice & squeeky clean...

Next - modeling the new outfit

Then a mid-morning trip thru the barns with Whoa DaddyO....

and right over to the Alpaca show -

to completely destory all cleanliness

I made sure to notice every kiss they got-
so I could later give them a Silkwood Scrub
Luke has mastered working the Monster Book of Monsters...

Nanny got Luke a new super-dork / super-funny rooster hat

a little Ring-Around-the-Rosie to finish off the evening

Once Luke is down - Anna has a hard time getting him back up again

Luke has made it a habit to give me a little Raspberry Spray during lunch
which he thinks is a riot
And then I made a MadMom noise - which is even funnier

FIRST!

Dan & I went out last night -

and I saw this

Yesterday, we went out - and Anna had a rough day of chugging goldfish

(with bear close at hand)

now - out of all my obsticles with having 2 kids- and 2 hands -

but each kid requiring 2 hands to be held..

I find this is my toughest combo

Luke soon after finished lunch - and I got him to take a nap...

and this was the wild and crazy afternoon I got to treat myself to

While the cats are away - the mouse will play
oh yeah - I'm wild

Luke got to enjoy about 24 seconds of the kid-couch all to himself

then it was invaded

Dan was secretly taking a video of Luke
Boy gets very annoyed with the Lamb-in-the-box.. and attacks him regularly
and then gets annoyed with Dan when he realizes his little fit was recorded..

simply delicioso

With exception to a biting issue -

the kids & I had a great weekend

Lots of snuggling!

Fred had a hunt-a-thon
and Anna was sure to show him suggley love whenever possible

...Monday morning... Luke has a new found love for squeeky rats

We visited the Chaveseseses's this weekend (see bite)
and they gave us the snacks that Mr. JD refuses to eat..
Needless to say - Luke's not as picky

Anna speaks very well - so when she botches the pronunciation of something - I always think it's so cute..

Trying to save a little time - we opted for the doublebath the other day

Although it may save time - it saved neither water, nor patience

both kids were SO happy - the water barely spent time inside of the tub

but - they were having fun - so what's the big deal....

Anna taught Luke the best spot in the house for watching tv
needless to say - the tv is so far back (so it is never touched)
that neither can see what's on
but, again, they're happy...
Dan is having - once again - some critter issues
and Fred was more than happy to keep an eye on this guy...

yesterday Luke fell asleep with cat in his mouth

Anna got a new - fancy - CLEAN pink car seat the other day

and she is TOOOOOO PLEASED

we had an afternoon of up & down the stairs -

waiting patiently for a poopie to arrive

needless to say - there was some cheering when the poopie finally showed up

November Time...

Halloween time!!!!!!

I have to say - halloween with 2 kids is so much different

Last year - Anna had a new pumpkin get up for each day of October...

This year - my mom gave me a hard time because Luke's costume was a t-shirt

Anna had some Elmo remorse a few days before Halloween -
but I wasn't about to switch costumes on October 30th

you wanted Elmo - you got him

After trick-r-treating -

Gigi got a little sugar-coated hugging

the kids had itsy bitsy spider dogs for dinner

at the Halloween Party - Luke wanted nothing to do with the group photo

Dan was trying to take pictures of Luke being cute & standing -

but every time he tried- a little birdy popped her head into the picture

my kids are the goofiest things around

ready to hit the town still goofy -

late night ice-pops...

wherever Luke goes - he leaves distruction ...

girl was VERY pleased

Anna starting doing this move in her little pool

she called it 'The Dolphin'

anyway - Luke starting doing it last night -

and Anna was TOO HAPPY to finally have something in common with the boy
