Weather is getting nice!!!!

the gruesome 3some go for pizza after the park!

just because she's so good looking!

we all stopped by the office for a little birthday cake, and Lori thought it would be fun to let girl have one of her horsies for a sleep-over party
and girl took VERY good care of this horsie!
she fed him..

he got his own private sleeping space...

and when it was time to say good-bye...

she's over it.
BUT THEN -the rain came..
this is River Driveway -Not to be confused with Lake Basement

Girl will stay busy and happy for hours on end, if you give her a sink, soap, and your dirty dishes
She'll even sign while she's doing the dishes.
(she is going to be a great wife one day!!)

and we finally got back outside!!
these pics are a perfect example as to why you should have 2 kids..
1 kid is always NOT paying attention to you, whether they're on the stairs, reaching for knives, or in the driveway - 1 of them looks for you - the other is obliviously running into danger

so we were walking down the driveway to see Daddy on the tractor.
Boy could hear the tractor (about a million miles away) and suddenly became terrified of it.

and now it is time to run!
(girl looking back)

now boy looks back

aaaannnddd boy falls

last year - this was my favorite picture in the whole wide world
it was in October, when it was still warm enough to not need a jacket

and the 2010 version of the same picture..
no jackets.. but no leaves either
I can't believe how much the backs of their heads have changed in 6 months

because any picture of them holding hands is a good one

and all tractor fear is gone

and the term "I'm as happy as a little girl"
this is the little girl they're talking about

boy needs to relearn the sandbox rules.
If you throw sand at someone, you have to sit in the naughty chair.

hug & make up

St Patrick's Day -
Nanny & Cookie met up at the Dunkin Donuts
You may remember Miss Hailey of the long-lost Hailey/Luke Cronicles
happily - she's got her first bow today (YAY!)

happy green kids

Boy & I went to Nanny's the other day.. and when boy was promised a big fat piece of Poppy's birthday cake..
he somehow ended up with beans

and raw pizza dough
(and if you look at his fancy dinner -you'll see veggie nugget/sticks, green beans, alphabet tatertots - NO CAKE)
the poor kid was robbed

but where there is pizza dough - there will soon be pizza
and they were happy campers

but I think he still wants cake

the ants go marching two by two...

I'm a wee bit lacking in the blog-update-department so here goes:

Saturday, Girl & Poppy & I hit up the library for a morning of Suess
she had quite the craft-a-thon.. and if you ask her if she had a good time -
she'll tell you how excited she was to use the gluesticks "And! They had scissors!!"

One Fish Two Fish
Pink Fish Black Fish

Sunday was AWESOME outside - so we were sure to get all the firsts in
The First Wiffle

The First Slide

The First Girl Bubbles

(where bubbles were actually produced)

The First Boy Bubbles
(no real bubbles produced)

the kids were terrified of snowpants all winter...
and now that the weather is getting nice and we're all playing outside, boy wants to romp in the snow. ? Either way- this can either be the First Romping in the Mud -
or the First (of MANY) Runaway from Mommy

Princess Anna getting her First Wagon Ride
(and boy's First Giving a Wagon Ride)

The First Driveway Pose
a) you can see boy plotting..
b) girl wasn't about to get her keester out of that wagon

this is where I start to loose track...
2nd running away from Mommy

3rd running away from mommy

4th running away from mommy
and after all that running.. boy decided to take a breather

Up to the ladies -
First Chicken Snacktime

Chicken Lips

Anna's Chicken Lips

Boy's First Leap off the Blocks

Then he told me "WHoa! I almost fell down!"
yup - that was a close one buddy

so he sat

'Tis the season to have every single pair of shoes & boots we own on the landing...
the kids got so muddy- instead of 'Sit down & take those muddy shoes off"
we had to have "Sit down & take those muddy shoes & pants off"
So -without further delay -
The First Pantless Running

ps- it was red-vest-day yesterday
