a Day of Luke...

the morning starts off with some frozen bananners

then brush the chompers

let the walmart torture begins

um yeah - Anna will sleep anywhere

ANYWHERE

After a day at the Wal -

we head to the park

Anna brought her baby

we were on one of the jungle gyms- and Anna fell - which is to be expected

Nanny asked "Did you fall from the first step - or the 2nd step?"

Anna said "No Nanny, Anna bit it right here.." and pointed to the big toe mark in the mulch

she'll be telling dirty jokes before you know it

where I am constantly correcting Luke -telling him

"Don't put that in your mouth!"

I'm forever telling Anna

"DON'T RUB YOUR EYES!"

yeah - the petting zoo - great place to rub your eyes

rusty swings - falling in the mulch - testing the temperature of mud puddles

and no matter what kind of day it was

this is always the best thing to see

and Thank You Mr & Mrs Burke -

we now have a functional stove!!!

Luke's got mad skills

not to be outdone ...

Anna is just too cute - every picture now comes with a pose and a loud 'CHEESE' Luke has mastered wearing all hand me downs -

which doens't make me feel bad - because - as you can see -

I'm constantly battling the drool dripping down his face....

Luke passed out mid-chew the other day -

and it was just too funny to not document

Anna rides the wagon that Luke pushes

and at the end of the day -
Fred gets baked with bear

FALL!!!!!!

well there was a lot of anticipation for this weekend's Fall Fest

Anna COULD NOT WAIT -

she was very excited to ride a pony,

pet a cow,

ride the train,

touch a duck,

have balloons,

and eat a hot dog.

butttttttttt.......

she passed out on the way there

so we woke her up - and let her slowly ease into the day...

here was Dan's view from the train (looks good)

my view - absolutely stunned

so we hit up Nanny's house afterwards-
and Luke passed out.. spread out - then passed out and Anna had her first dried strawberry

we all got home -and luckily - everyone was in bed by 8

I was soon to follow... but had a little time with Fred first

(poor Fred - my very neglected first born)

Next morning.. Fred discovered a new way to torture Luke

Fred by no means, wants to come inside..

he just sits by the door and listens to Luke scream and bang the glass

and return on the smooshface

Sunday morning - I decided Anna is old enough to come to church with me. There is a window where you just can't bring them - Luke is there now..

they both came when they were really small.. because they just sit there.. now - Luke is too old - he objects and makes LOTS of noise... but I thought maybe Anna could start to come with me again..

told her it was like the library - you sit quietly, listen to stories, and sing songs

She absolutely LOVED it

and Luke loved being an only child for a little while

Anna got messy at Nanny's

Luke had a nice mohawk after a long - long bath
because the poor kid got THIS done to him at school!
It looked great - but everytime I looked at him - I couldn't help but laugh - and he had a look on his face like
"What? what's the problem?"

And the girlie was please as punch with her lady bug/sun/flower combo

The Fever, The Feeder, The Full-Moon, and The Share

Friday after school.. Anna had a little fever

even her pigtails were droopy

poor little bird

but amazing - a little tylonol

and she's kicking Daddy out of the driver's seat...

she even knows to hold Luke's hand out of the way so he won't grab the spoon

Then she went crazy for Meatball Friday

I don't remember when this was - or what the occasion was -

but two sleeping kids is always photo-worthy

Saturday was Auntie Renaye's Bridal Shower

Anna - being the flowergirl - was kept busy with a plate of Pirate Booty & a spoon

until she melted down & Daddy came & took her home

Well -

Sunday morning - I could have told you it was a full moon

the girl woke up one the wrong side of the bed BIG TIME

but if you flip her upside down once or twice -

she recoops very nicely

and there is nothing a mommy likes to see more -

than her little girl sharing cheerios in the backseat with her brother

the baby-the burger-the field- and - the wagon

I'm so behind - so limited comments

Welcome little billows! YEAH

Dan cleared the fields!!!

yeah! More room to run!

there were so many more of them - but these are the really pretty pictures -

and everything smells really good now went for a wagon ride - and Anna held on to Luke like it was a log flume

she's been an excellent sister lately!

minimal abuse!

Happy kids crusing the trike in the garage...

it's the only place that's smooth & paved !!!

Anna waved like a queen the ENTIRE time she hitched a ride with Daddy

and while we were outside -

a gigantic box of diapers & food got delivered

an there is no better toy than a box! height compairson

I love these toys that MAKE Luke stand up -

but I think my favorite part....

when he's not standing - the electrical outlet is baby-eyeball-height

and then after the library -

Anna - usually a strict chicken-nuggeter

got her first cheeseburger
