Wild Children for a Wild Weekend....

Friday Anna came home from Nanny's house -

and the evidence of a Grape Lollypop was all over her face

and hands

and jacket

and pants

but she was VERY happy

Saturday -Anna, Luke, Poppy & I went to ShopRite

and Anna got a little food store face painting

then - Saturday night
Anna got a piggyback ride
against Luke's will...

afterwards -

Anna gave us all stickers for doing a good job on the potty

now if this were only a reality - we'd be in good shape

Half way thru the night -

Luke & I skipped out for a trip to the A&P

(chicken breasts on sale - $1 /lb IT COULDN'T WAIT!) and Luke has mastered -

I MEAN MASTERED peek-a-boo

then there was a laugh-a-thon

Fall has Sprung...

I'm starting to realize that it is only going to get colder outside

SOOOOOO

We spent a LOT of time outside yesterday...

Nanny abducted Anna the other day and took her out for choco-mice

We keep telling Anna that she has to be nice (read: nicer) to Luke

Not just because he's a baby

or because he's her brother

not even because I say so

Mostly because - - well - - he's a big boy -

and one day he's going to turn around and hit her back

and when that day comes - he's going to flatten her

She's trying so hard to be nice to him -

but she has a hard time differentiating between

hugs - and submission moves

The Cousin, The Hayride, MMMMmmm, and the Spoon

Sat night we went to Auntie Denise & Uncle TomTurkey's house to hang out with Anthony -

and Anna got to hang out with Frankie

and Sunday - was the HAY RIDE

a little home made-

but the kids TOTALLY LOVED IT

and what's better than your dad giving you your own personal hayride around your own yard

umm - I'll tell you what -

NOTHING

was a little sunny in spots

and Luke was far too distracted by how delicious the hay was Anna reassured me that she was a big girl & didn't need me to hold on to her....

Anna refused to sit - but luke did finally stop eating all the hay then Luke cruised in the wagon a bit

and Anna has mastered all kitchen table tricks

Luke loves every last bite of every food -

no matter what it is - it gets a big Mmmmmmmm

catcher in the rye...

Luke has master the art of playing catch..
we're now bringing in all different sized toys for him to catch
he takes a few hits to the kisser - but all in all he's doing well

ps - that noise is his happy baby noise - its a horrible cross between hack and laugh...
