BIRTHDAY BOY!!!!

yes yes yes - I'm behind - but 'tis the season..
here goes

BIRTHDAY BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!
we went to kid junction for boy's birthday party...
boy romped as a birthday boy should
(with frankie... you can see his paws peeking into the background of the picture)
girl was sure to get all queen'ed up
JD played with the gigumbus lightbright
boy made some katsup sandwiches
while Emily made a mustard casserole
"yeah yeah - I'm two - now let me cook"
After MUCH hard work - we finally got boy to acknowledge his proper age..
**Note - we tried everything!!!!
"when you're two - your fingers are like scissors"
"when you're two - your fingers are like dinosaur feet"
who knows what finally made it set it.. but it did!!
pizza twins
pizza princess
pizza Nick
pizza birthday boy
birthday boy wasn't too pleased to sit in the birthday chair... but we finally got him in there
I guess I should be prepared for an entire year of resistance

Nanny & Mommy
Mommy & Grammie & Auntie Denise
pizza Chavezes
you would think the birthday boy would be loving his pizza...
or loving the birthday chair...
or loving his birthday cake...
Honestly - you would think the kid never had apple juice before
there are more pictures of the bottom of a cup - than there are of him

"here comes the cake - let me move that..."
"DON'T TOUCH MY JUICE"

Dan's overall opinion of children & thier sticky fingers cannot be hidden

cake time = terror time

once the singing stops..

cake boys

one more of Lisa & Nick

and one last trip to the food store before we left...

Thanksgiving Residuals & the BIRTHDAY BOY

~Back to Thanksgiving~
Anna couldn't have been happier than she was hanging out with the big kids!!
because she's just too delicious

boy was happy to hang out with the squirrel

BIRTHDAY BOY!!!!

We got to kid junction -and everyone immediately puts on an outfit
boy's doesn't last long, due to excessive running & sweating
girl, on the other hand, stays in her princess duds as long as possible

the full caboodle
(hands on hips sold seperately)

momma & the birthday boy
momma & the pickle princess

boy and the biggest legos ever
(notice the state of overheat)

a quick game of whack-a-shark before we leave
on tippy toes...

Boy has been asking to go to Top o'th Hill everytime we pass it
so I figured it would be a nice birthday treat
all went well until Jimmy brought the cake out
that's when boy tried to hide

Shy Boy

quick peek to make sure we didn't take the cake away

then blowing the candles out

granted, this chocolate disaster was not my first choice for an end-of-the-night / late-night-out-treat
but they absolutely loved it
(cat included)

the whole fam

ideally, it would have been: backpacks on, straight home, straight to bed...
but sadly- it didn't happen like that
they had to burn a little cake off first...

and when boy climbed me... I knew it was going to be a late night
