Happy Birthday Fred

Well, it's that time of year again -
cat birthday party time!
As far as Fred's birthday - we're not positive..
its somewhere around the first weekend we remember in October...
sooooo....
While we were at the foodstore on Sunday - we were sure to pick up a tasty can of Jack Mackerel for my first born.

gagorama

we .. of course... tortured the poor boy by singing "Happy Birthday" to him..
making him not only wait - but dance for his treats

Proper way to carry a sword

my little samari

Holiday Weapons

Only a grandmother would buy the kids weapons in honor of Halloween.
Nanny bought each kid a sword in honor of this festive month- and honestly, the only thing cuter would be if she bought them each their first shotgun.

I figured I was being one of those dull moms - that won't allow their toddlers to play with weapons.. so I reluctantly brought them out of the trunk warning both kids that the first time I heard complaining- or saw sword- related tears- they would go directly in the garbage.
They agreed and quite frankly, I've never seen them get along better. The ever present threat of toy-distruction has created a tight sibling bond.

Granted, boy will wallop the girl on the noggin & she promptly falls on the ground crying- but she promises the crying was due to the fall- not the hit.
Whatevs.
Either way- they're both convinced they've become either Peter Pan or Captain Hook- beating the crap out of each other - happy as clams.

If you hit me- they're garbage

Touche!

they'll battle anywhere
