Festive Holiday Weekend...

I have to say -not working on Tuesdays & Thursdays makes 3-day holiday weekends SO MUCH BETTER!

4 days is just so much sweeter than 3!
we woke up on Saturday READY TO GO

Luke was quick to nap -

so girl got in some crucial water table time

the horns are a true sign of a good time

as usual - the drawers quickly disappear

NEXT

Poppy came over first and got the swinging off to a goodstart

then Christofer came over - and girl got a quick cousin snug in
Luke- as usual- oblivious in the background

I had one of those moments this weekend -

I realized Anna's legs are getting VERY LONG

while girl & I ran out to the store -

Dad & Boy put on their Bert hats & did Mary Poppins impressions

groggy morning

Boy learned how to fold his arms after hanging out with Uncle Tom

boy quickly drew tired of the weekend

and he's out

he was so pooped - he allowed Anna's invasion on the hammock

and that was the weekend -

and now it's cold & rainy out

~poop~

I'm so behind.......

I'll start off by saying this -

I think this is the cutest picture I've ever taken of these 2

had a little cool off in the water table after the walk

took a quick break for mid-morning happy hour

and reailzed girl lost her pants at some point

then we brought the drinks inside...

where the kids faded away...

unlike at home...

girl has unlimited usage of Nanny's hose

and this is why I don't allow it

Girl had a very kitty afternoon

and wanted some whiskers of her own

and we hung out on the hammock

got a little taste of what it is like to have a son

seems lately - any time I try to snap a picture of girl

this is what I get

or a smooch

I'm so behind!

I'll guarantee nothing is in correct order...

Uncle Jon stopped home the other day.. did a little light reading

and was invaded by the girl

kids each got their own bag of cheesies in the car

Anna was being super cute on the seesaw with her baby....

the thought of sharing with her brother is agonizing

Grandma Toni got girl some ballet shoes...
she was sure to sport them all day - and pose accordingly

Girl & I had a few Dr's appointments to go to -

so Daddy was hanging out with boy

girl & I were getting ready to go out & Dan snapped a good shot of boy

I think Dan really worked him...

then gave him dinner..

Monday Update

Saturday ended up being nice afterall...

too bad I had already booked the day with errands

Luke was having nothing to do with it

we have a little routine - where you read the 'Big Book of Big Trucks'

and pick out your favorite truck

and seeing as how Sunday was yucky & rainy

there wasn't much else on the agenda for the day

Kids watched Alice in Wonderland for the first time

zombies

we snuggled a little

and everyone refused to take a nap

so I stuck them in the car..

again - I say up- Luke says down

Sooo I dropped Luke off at home with Daddy -

and finished up my errands with a snoozing girl

I asked Dan to give Luke a bath - and this was the response he sent me

I don't want to know

Anna still thinks a Spoonful of Sugar helps the medicine go down..

even on the rainiest of days

MAYDAY MAYDAY!

because boy's tush is just too cute

and Anna hides from the world..

if her arm wasn't sticking out - I wouldn't be able to find her
