PHEW! Where have I been!?!?!?!

And finally - I'm back with more!!!!!!!!!!

First a quick update - we went to the doctor for Luke's 1 month appointment...

in one month - the boy has gained a half an inch and 3 lbs

grand total - 13 1/2 lbs

MOO

and I'm going to be the one pushing it around because Dan is so horrified by this thing he refuses to push it anywhere but the living room.

I made Anna a gigantic SpongeBob pillow and she totally fell in love with this too!
every time we were in WalMart - I told Dan we should get her one of those big dog beds -

and he refused

so I made her one.. and it is FAN~TAS~TIC

Merry Christmas!

well - today is Christmas

which can only mean one thing.....

the children are supervised by the zillions of family members everywhere -

after much discussion w/ the doctors - we all decided it would be best for me to have a c-section... and now - I'm grateful :)

All in all - he's a very good kid -
but you really have to enjoy the moments when he's snoozing....
AND - as much of an adjustment this new baby is for us - I have to keep in mind - it is an even BIGGER adjustment for the girl

HINEY

HERE WE ARE!

Well what can I say...

apparently - I spent WAY more time at work updating this blog than I realized...

I guess its not so bad when you do a little bit at a time - but still

I can't seem to find a free second to update things while I'm at home

Nice to know my boss isn't as demanding as an 18 month old :)

SO HERE WE GO

first and foremost - the prego pic

40 weeks - and one day

in this pic - I'm offically 1 day OVERDUE

today - I'm officially 5 days overdue - and my attitude shows it

if the boy doesn't make an appearance by next Sunday - I'll be headed in for yet another induced birth - but at this stage in the game - that's totally fine with me

I don't know how chipper I'll be at 10 days over - considering I'm a bear to be around now

Notice how nicely my belly sticks out of the bottom of my shirt - keep in mind - these are the only pants that fit - that are acceptible to wear out

notice how I cut my face out of the picture - its so you can't see

a) the tears in my eyes at the thought of looking at myself at this angle

b) the laser beams shooting out of my eyes - looking for the first available target

c) the hair that will never be styled nicely again

d) the overall look of "I hate everyone" on my face

granted - its a cardboard box - but she's is pleased as punch...

needless to say - the girl was less than pleased with Santa
In her defense - Santa coughed like a monster the second she walked up to him -
THEN - I very nicely asked him if he could give her a little "ho ho ho" - b/c that's what we had been working with
he said no - AND - not just no - but "No - not with all this mucus"
I now hate mall santa

Now - in my defense for this being our Santa picture:
not only our second try at sitting on his lap -
we sat and watched about 200 kids sit on his lap very nicely to show that Santa wouldn't bite.....
and did I mention I'm about 94 months pregnant at this point?

OK FOLKS! today is my last day at work before maternity leave -

so consider this the last time I get paid for updating my blog

Today being my last day at work -

Nana seems to think its the last time she's ever going to see the girl again.

Granted - we live 2 minutes from each other -

she assures me it will just be different..

so on their final day together - they hit up the library!

Falling behind in November!

I can't stand how behind I've gotten on my life - and phtptp! only 37 (?) weeks pregnant?!?

I'm trying my best to get caught up on AT LEAST this blog...

AND - baby update - this week - they told me my little boy is a measly 9 1/2 lbs -

and they won't take him out for another 2 weeks - earliest

so - if you're my friend at all - please say a prayer that I have this baby soon..

I know they're always off with the sizing.. but still - what if they're not!
