Say its your birthday...

We had a birthday party for Mr. Luke -
and it went far smoother than expected
After everyone left - I was starving
during the party -there wasn't a spare seat in the house
there were NO leftovers (well, bread & soda)
but no one got bitten
minimal tears
and no major injuries

sounds good to me!
Anna took a nap before the party -
so Luke was fully utilizing his It's my party/Only-Child moments..
Before we took these pictures -
Luke was sure to knock himself in the eye and get a mini-shiner
fall on his nose
and scratch his face in a few spots
yup - he's ALL boy!
I will now only respond to Carne Calabrese

Ummm where was the birthday boy?

Such a nice girl
Nice birthday kiss

like boy needed ANY help getting food in his face

and then the toys toys toys toys!

and John
you can tell how far we are into the evening -
by the red cheeks
Poppy & JD
Poor girl was having a hard time with it not being her birthday
she was VERY GOOD all day -
but it took its toll on her
overwhelmed
BY FAR this is my favorite picture of the whole event
the food got super speedy sharked -
so at the end of the day - when Emily appeared with a random hot dog..
Mar was a bit inquisitive as to its source

all day I had to tell the girl
'Please let Luke go first'

Cake

Chuck E Cheese = Kid Crack

We went to ChuckE Cheese for Luke's big birthday dinner...
and those children could not have been happier!
From the moment me walked in the door -they both hit overload INSTANTLY

Anna is about 2 inches too short to get herself into the hamster tubes in the ceiling..
so I went in with her...
and brought Luke along for the ride
and if Mommy can fit in there - Poppy can too
needless to say - we're both needing some new knees today
Why don't babies go down long slides by themself?
because they tuck & roll..
but he was still VERY HAPPY
a little bit of a smoother ride with mommy
Happy on all the rides...

Gigantic Rocking Horse
As a special treat - Anna got to sit in a high-chair too
And who's coming...

whoa boy
the best thing I can say about this thing - was both kids loved him
Post-Dinner rides...
If Luke would sit still for more than 2 seconds -
you would be able to see how nicely Girl is sharing her ride with boy!
