Fishies, Grammies, Paparazzi & Popcorn Babies

Girl & I had gone shopping - and I just could not get enough of her face..

so I had to take 400 pictures of her

FISHING

For some silly reason, boy had a lot of hand-in-pocket poses this day

and every pic I took of girl & poppy -

looks like her head is 2 inches away from his hiney

and even though this was an awesome picture of the three...

I will always remember it as the pic of poppy fighting with the endless tangles of fishing line

boy was in charge of the worms

and girl came over to supervise

waiting nicely for fish

the nice waiting didn't last long

before too long, kids were in the water and splashing any hopes of fish away

but doing together so nicely

so we moved on

there was a man talking on his phone at the complete other end of the bridge

the kids were SOOOOO curious about him - they just insisted on investigating the poor guy

once we got to him - the quickly lost interest

and decided to run -FULL SPEED - in flipflops - the length of the uber-splinter bridge

and soon realized how tired he really was

I'm just taking what I can get

lots of collisions

I don't know if girl just gave in & waited for him to get away from her to start playing again-

or if she decided to turn it into a pose?

?who knows?

Mayday Mayday

somewhere this week I saw someone had written "New Jersey is the only place you can experience 4 different seasons in one week"

sadly true

who has 2 thumbs and is done dealing with stupid weather?!

THIS GIRL

from thick sweaters - to sundresses & shorts

kids were picking lots & lots of flowers for me

rude awakening - the flowers weren't for me..

but we went upto the main house on a delivery mission, where the kiddies were happily rewarded with cookies

YAY COOKIES!

my darling princess was posing for a photo when.....

the discovery was made - - the boy has hit a new stage in the 2's

climbing

and jumping

I've seen boy make this face 100 times a day -

and it's never been so perfectly documented in actual side-by-side compairson
"So I got THAT going for me!"

double see-saw action at the swan park

does it get any better?

she wore pom-pom hair

he wore spiderman

and they sat soooooooooo nicely

right before boy broke away & jumped off the third stair & yelled

"Whoa! That was a big jump!"

....and the moment was over

Dan is trying to instill a few important life lessons ...

little things like: don't coat the sponge with stones before you wash the car

and/or keep the sponge AWAY from the stones!!

once they figure out it's work - they leave the scene

and when everyone does finally roll out of bed... it's to snuggle on the couch

our band-aids are anxiously awaiting their arrival to knees & elbows...

the weather was abfab this weekend -

so the kids were OUTSIDE!

It seemed this weekend -the kids tried to test their limits...

BEGGING for injury

We brought out the water table.. and boy tried to drink as many bugs & pine needles as possible

he was soon invaded by a passing nudist

he then tested the limits of watertable..

it seemed the whole day I had to tell them "NO FEET!!" or "YOU CAN'T STAND IN THERE!"

but tummies were perfectly acceptable?

Boy quickly bolted when I took his soaking wet shirt off

by the time I walked around to the front of the house (its not a very big house)

this is what I discovered

and then climbing

look at his face -

he knows what he is doing is naughty.. but he loves it

while boy was being a terror

girl & I decided to play with the big ball

her chasing & running skills are fantastic

but when she finally gets to the ball...

not so good

girl retired to the house to find an outfit

and boy retired to the see-saw to try & break some bones

eaaassy...

baaalance...

nope

nope

steady...

YEAH!!!!!!!

having conquered the seesaw -he moved on to completely coating himself in mud

but first - he had to get to the mud

through the window of course!

and back out again
