We'll be coming around the mountain when we come......

funny deja vu

One day its cold outside

and one day its warm!
we'll take the warm!!
yesterday was super fun filled and packed full of playdates!

you turn your head for one second -
and kids are EVERYWHERE!
everyone flocks to the playhouse

but the sandbox always wins

Luke still hasn't mastered sitting on the edge of the sandbox

and once the girl takes a nap - boy is happy

you can barely see the sand there are so many toys!

Daddy took Luke for a spin on the tractor
and boy couldn't have been happier!!!!!!!

then Alex stopped by to cook us lunch...
(there are more pictures of alex & the kids-
but I don't have them today -
so stay tuned....)

and Dan finally caught rooster-boy showing off
and in this one, Luke's quite the driver..

on the mend.. and Happy Easter

well - the bubble-intake issues we were having turned out to be far more than simple bubble intake. I'm happy to say that boy is on the mend- and was the only one who was troubled with the... issues.. that he had (I still think bubbles had something to do with it!)
EITHER WAY
we had quite the fancy dinner... everyone in sunglasses
and everyone wanted a mid-dinner snuggle

shades baby... love the flowers

The tushy seems to have a great presence in our house..
I'm starting to notice a tv-watching-trend

boy got his first solo ride in the truck with daddy
behaved MUCH better than a group outing

I have to laugh.. I've told people in the past 'our family pictures are like a where's waldo with the beer'
in every picture - somewhere, is Dan's beer
its quite obvious in this one

mad skills

2 cats basking in the sun

girl fully enjoyed a window-down day in the car

and boy's newest
OH NO!
After I put a new post up- - I always go back and look at it, just to make sure it looks right.. well - I can see that the video of Luke's OH NO- is terribly dark -and you can barely see what's going on.
so here's the story:
Luke rips his toy-car-garage to pieces.. and usually we say "Oh No!" because it ends up looking like godzilla came thru town & demolished the place.
Luke, in turn, adopted the OH NO
but! now he does it before he rips the toys to shreds ..
you can sort-of-kind-of-maybe see the big H on the top of the toy -that's the helipad
?
whatever
it took so long to load it on here - I'm not taking it off now

was it april that was in like a lion?

granted - March was a nightmare -
but April is proving to be a big pain in the butt too!
everything starts off nicely with a yummie cookie-a-thon

next, two kids, lovely day....
so far so good

Ohhhhhhhh I see where the problem may have started

girl is annoyed - but boy is still enjoying his tastey bubbles

still snacking

it was just too cute to stop..
how was I to know how sick bubbles make a kid?

..a nice bumpy wagon ride..

quick ride in the farm truck

after the first few barfs - Luke really seemed to enjoy his medicinal ice-pop

and although girl had absolutely nothing wrong with her -
she insisted on an icepop as well

and then it starts
I wish this was a start of an early evening...
but I think he knew what we were in for-
so he made sure he was well rested for an evening of ...
an evening of...
well - he was making lion noises - if that's any clue

mental note:
no more bubbles for lunch

Finally April!

first thing first - Happy Birthday Miss Michelle!
second - not only is today one of the most important holidays of the year - which I sadly cannot share with my babies because I don't want to instill any permanent damage ..
today was the first day Anna woke up -after her first night diaperless -
DRY AS A BONE!
quite exciting - yes!
the first night - yes!
the first try - yes!
now we'll just have to wait and see what tonight brings us!
either way -
this is how I find my kids in the morning
Luke - hides from the world
Girl is in a ball

and from time to time
Mommy needs a time out too
and I even ignore the cat

and for those of you who think I'm terrible for letting the kids watch tv
this is Luke's attention span for tv shows
he only likes the opening song

what is it about March?!?!

well - thank goodness March is nearly over!
here - we see how nicely Daddy takes a picture a picture of Anna giving Fred cat treats -
while Luke snacks on a few as well

big boy snacker at Nanny's house
nice pink bib

if you're ever searching for girl... this is where you look
she won't stay in there very long - and will let you know she's ready to come out by screaming
"SOMEBODY HELP ME"

playtime -a split second before Luke got a hoof to the back of the head

Luke's favorite toy to play in

there is always SOMEONE in the dump truck

Girl woke up VERY happy on Sunday morning
"THE PUDDLE IS BACK!"
out of all of them - this is her favorite puddle

boy has been talking up a storm lately..

and this is the excitement that surrounds EVERYTHING
today's happy: raspberries

the hammock, the eggs and the box

seems last year - there was a little bit of terror surrounding the hammock
she likes it this year

this picture is for scale
there are all these pictures of the boy - but now you can see how long he is...literally, half the size of me (and making a very stern face)

got a handful of freak eggs the other day

Boy concentrating

girl snuggling
she makes sure Fred it taken care of every night

this is the first face the girl makes for me every morning

cute boy on the swing

we were taking a ride in the farm truck -
and Luke was sporting man-arm around the seat

the ALWAYS EXCITING diaper delivery
I don't know where girl was -but boy was enjoying every solo moment in the box

the other day at dinner-
girl broke the antenna off of the radio
claimed it was so she could 'play her violin'
whatever
and this is what I deal with during a ride in the car
and not to be outdone
