OUTSIDE!!!!!!

I signed girl up for the big K this week..
so we went out for a celebration dinner...
sushi (read: edamame) and ice cream

and then we went outside!!
and stayed outside!!!
Nanny & Poppy brought over boy's Christmas present...
THE TRACTOR!
Needless to say - everyone was pleased!

so there wouldn't be any jealously issues - I also brought out the bicycle ...
the bicycle that has never before been seen by Tyler-Children-Eyes
Boy jumped off the tractor SO FAST... and couldn't get his hairmit on quick enough

Girl was more than pleased with his decision to get off the tractor

Then we did some serious walking

Well, we did some walking - and the kids did some serious riding...

Exploring new parts of the yard -
and new fields... the kids couldn't be happier.

I noticed that the kids seemed a wee bit nosey about the grass.. and I didn't really think much about it..
and this pic was 2 seconds before girl fell down -
I walked over to help her up & nearly had a heart attack when I saw what she fell on - and what the kids were so nosey about
WRETCH & VOM

what I thought would be a big picture of the fam near a tree that had fallen -
ended up being my heart attack when boy decided to go under the gigumbus tree.. and investigate the tiny sapling that was holding its tremendous weight.
also - Boy has learned how to nicely smile for a picture.. but the next step.. is to face the person taking a picture. You tell him "SMILE!" and he stops dead in his tracks - and smiles.
he needs to acknowledge the person taking the picture a little bit more

after numerous spills - we decided girl needed her hand held at all times...

boy just ran through the woods with reckless abandon

Nice boy insists on helping daddy push the wagon up the hill..

hitching a ride

AND THEN THE STONE PILE
boy had a grand time mastering his jumping skills

Girl found her way to the back of the rock pile -
but was sure to stay out of the picture sort of

DOUBLE JUMPERS

I said he was mastering his jumping skills -
not his landing skills

good place for the girl to strike a pose

Boy was insisting on pulling girl in the wagon...
it was funny - at first, she was too heavy for him to pull
then, all of a sudden, he magically became stronger..
and pulling the wagon really wasn't that big of a deal.

So much easier for everyone this way

Happy babies back at home

Someone is getting lazy...
